SBF Cressida in orbit over Marsby *Scifiwarships

This is the battlecruiser SBF Cressida, it's nearing completion but not quite there yet. This is an image with the weapons deployed. These consist of a primary armament of four fixed, forward firing cannons in pairs on either side of the bridge, and four secondary, multi jointed turrets in separate gun bays, two on either flank. These turrets are crewed and fold away in individual weapons bays when the ship is in interstellar transit, or not in use.

This ship keeps getting better and better. I really like the realism and consideration of three dimentianal space that most starship designs neglect. If you can shoot above or below, your toast! These turrets take care of that!

Thank you mate! I still haven't shown all of it yet. There are a few other features that I haven't revealed. The ship also has reverse firing engines that fold out, and antenna arrays that fold out of nacelles on the hull. The bridge is still not completed, and I haven't mounted the sliding armour panels for it. I also have most of the inner workings of the hangar deck sorted, but not yet designed. There is a long way to go still.
However I have to give it a rest for now as I'm working on another concept which will be the next gen battlecruiser and weapon systems. Hopefully far superior to this.
