AeroCat fwd engines

Another shot of the Aero-Catamaran /groundeffect racer I have just built. This time it's a coupe of shots of the fwd engines.

These are the primary lifter engines and they form the big cushion of air that is trapped underneath the hull to provide lift. They are heat powered pulse jets and I went for this technology because it allowed for non cylindrical engines, as there are no spinning turbines within them.  
I wanted big, muscular engine nacelles in the front of the craft to give the illusion of great power. At the same time I  also wanted them sleek, and fast looking.

To achieve this I went for rectangular shapes. I liked the rectangles and they gave me better control of the curve of the engine cover and at the same time allowed for quite decent forward vision from the cockpit even though it is situated very low and far back on the fuselage.
