Here's another pdf I made a while back. It's sort of a presentation I made for a car. There's tons of other pictures of this car already in here, but I've just had this sitting around, not going anywhere so I thought i might as well share it...
I hope you enjoy it.

This is a fascinating insight into your design process. It looks beautiful, and every time I thought of some Scientific problem with the design, you'd usually solved it by the next page.

This is TRUE science fiction.
I love when people put so much thought in their design.

Thank you mate! Yeah, it's frustrating to try and convey so much thought and ideas through 3-4 badly exposed, low res renders that take forever to make..:) (Smile)

Incredible!  I think the seats are my favorite part.. I can never make seats.  Please let me just by observing this amazing work of design and art become a little better at seats via talent osmosis..

Thanks mate! You really had me laughing there.. If it's any comfort I find seats to be frustrating as hell too.

I just struggle.  I want to make nice seats for my racer, if you can see in my screenshots right now I'm just using generic racing seats I got off of the warehouse as a size reference.

I have downloaded a few myself, but I find them generally not very good (mostly crap really). Also they seem to have dodgy proportions most of them. What I do is to google proper racing seats and then when I find a decent schematic drawing with measurements I import it to skechup and use as a template.  When I have measurements I can draw to scale and get something semi decent out of it.
I have also got a positionable mannequin I stole from some guy on the warehouse and I set him up in various positions to get arm rests steering wheels etc. in the right position. It's a crap figure but I find him extremely useful.
I have an older, not excellent seat in the cockpit of the radial fighter on 3D warehouse here: 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model…; You could maybe modify it to suit your racer. It's very laid back, like a lounge chair.  If you want a more fighter style upright position, there's this: 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/user.… I'm pretty sure he's got a pilot with an ACES 2 ejection seat you can modify that's actually quite good..

you know I think we're using the same figure.

its crap, but size accurate.  Is it this one?

I havent tried to make a seat in a while.  I might be able to now with my talent improvement after making this racer.  Thanks for the references though, they are helpful.

Yup, same guy.
I've tweaked mine with little circles on all joints so that I can change him around.
I have always been meaning to make a way cooler, more android like figure with proper joints. Just never got round to it.
Halfway through every project I freak out and start sketching so I'm sure to have another one going by the time I wrap up...

I've been meaning to do that too..  I wish sketchup had rigged balljoints, I really wish it did..

And I totally know that feeling.. I have like ten ongoing models.

Another tip regarding seats, but you probably do this anyway. Cut it in half and make two components.  Then you only have to model half a seat. I do that with everything.
Right up to the fuselage of the ship. then I cut out the bits which have text on them and make separate components out of them. great file saving trick, cos you get away with half a model, but still get to have text the right way round on both sides.

Amazing work! inspiring as always. I love the overall design that just feels like it would flow across the ground or through the air. I particularly liked the flight mode and the work on the wheels. It all has that futuristic hope air about the whole design, art and functionality combined. Its beautiful.

Incredible work. I absolutely love it! Your idea for using the fusion reactor is something I've just daydreamed about, but you applied it very well and it seems relatively plausible.

Based on my limited knowledge of how fusion would work I'd say, yes, it does sound good. :) Again, great job!
